Memon Centre Leicester

The football match gathering on Wednesday at 730pm at the Memon Centre was organised by Imtiaz Gaffar and Ashraf Okhai. The event was a great success and approx 80 people turned up which included a number of kids. Food was excellent and everyone enjoyed the evening thoroughly. Our special thanks to Irfan Karim (Iffy) for sorting out the screen. Also many thanks to Asif Apex, Shabbir Rangers, Shiraz Nathani, Rafik Alif and all the others for their help in assisting with the occassion. Also thanks to Koyla Restaurant and Best Buy Cash & Carry for offering discounted food and drinks. We wish to organise these evnts on a regular basis and request your support. We have just a added a small poll on the right hand side of the website. Please take part in it, thanks. Since the election of the new commitee on Sunday, we have started having various comments on the website about what needs to be done at the Memon Centre. Thanks to all who have submitted their suggestions so far. Just to be specific, we have shortlisted a choice of 5 random things that the new committee could do in the next 2 months. Please vote for one of them so we can get a feel for what the majority of people want the new committee to do. We will post the results on the site after a week when the poll end, and hopefully the committee will kick-start with the most voted-for suggestions. Of course if you have any other alternative suggestions for the next 2 months, please leave a comment.
